KENYA DIVING: SCUBA DIVING KENYA: Diving, snorkeling, best marine safaris and fishing on Kenyan coast, Mombasa and Zanzibar Island KTDS: 12 days diving, Game and fishing: tree safari for Shimba hills, Shimoni reef, Kisite, Funzi, Pemba and Diani Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi and transfer to Mombasa by first class night train. Dinner and overnight in the train. Day 2: Arrival in Mombasa 0800 hrs and head to Shimba Hills National park in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive will reveal the 'big five'. Dinner and overnight at Tree Lodge. Day 3: Early morning game drive before breakfast, after, spent the rest of the day at the Park with lunch at Tree hotel, dinner and overnight. Day 4: After a sumptous breakfast, drive south south to Shimoni Reef Lodge arriving in time for lunch. Rest of the afternoon at leisure and acclimatizing or take an evening dive. Dinner and overnight at Shimoni Reef lodge. Day 5: After breakfast, head for Kisite and Mpunguti Marine Park. Spent the day fishing. Get your catch of the day and have it cooked by castaway chefs with conservationists. Look out for dolphins and enjoy a sumptuous crab and seafood lunch at our hideaway on Wasini Island. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Shimoni Reef lodge. Day 6: Breakfast and proceed for Funzi Keys club arriving time for lunch. This is a select resort tucked away on its own island superbly located on a west facing beach that provides the perfect exclusive hideaway from the outside world in style, making it one of the ultimate secluded places to unwind. It's also one among top 100 small resorts in the world. You can also eat whenever you opt to at Funzi and all drinks are included in the room cost except champagne. Evening take a night dive with dinner and overnight at the Club. Day 7: Breakfast and rest of the day at leisure, probably enjoy the sunny beaches or simply lazy around or go fishing. After dinner take a night dive. Overnight at Funzi Club. Day 8: Breakfast and leave for Pemba Island fishing Club ( perhaps the best known in Kenya). After lunch, go fishing in the deep waters of the sea and get the catch of stripped marlin, get to see the most colorful fish and spectacular coral formation on earth crowned by sumptuous seafood at the Club. Overnight at the club. Day 9: After breakfast, proceed to Indian ocean Beach club which has complete water sport facilities in time for lunch. Experience the white coral beaches of Diani, most of which are cleaned daily. After lunch, visit the 'crab' or go golfing at the nearby Nyali golf Club. Dinner and overnight at Indian ocean Beach Club or Diani Grand Beach hotel. Day 10: Breakfast and leave for Malindi's Driftwood Beach Club in time for lunch. Afternoon at leisure exploring the beaches or shopping. Dinner and overnight at Driftwood Club. Day 11: Breakfast and go fishing for sailfish. If lucky, catch the Billfish, Broadbill or a marlin. Spot the swordfish, Barracuda, shark and kingfish among others. Dinner and overnight at Woburn Residence Club ( winner of 27th international tourist hotel and catering trophy 2002 ). Day 12: Breakfast
at 0800 hrs and spent the morning shopping. Lunch en-route to
Mombasa town for a short city tour after which you leave at leisure
in time for your next destination. ~End of safari~
